SUMMARY
Annual herbs. Stems erect or spreading. Leaves alternate, sensitive, paripinnate. Leaflets opposite, subsessile; stipules membranous, spurred; stipels absent. Inflorescences umbel-like racemes, axillary or terminal; bracts and bracteoles small, thin. Calyx 2-lipped, the lips almost entire, deciduous. Petals yellow. Stamens 10, monadelphous with the anthers alternately long, sub-basifixed and shorter, dorsifixed. Pods coiled into a ring or a spiral minute rough on the margins, with 8−11 compressed articles. Seeds broadly irregularly reniform.
