SUMMARY
Shrubs or small trees. Leaves alternate, fasciulate on short shoots, imparipinnate, 1- or -foliolate. Leaflets more or less alternate; stipules striate, persistent attached at the base, appendiculate; stipels absent. Inflorescences axillary, racemose or a solitary flower. Calyx campanulate with 5 subequal lobes. Petals yellowish, sometimes with red or purplish lines. Stamens 10, monadelphous or diadelphous. Pods breaking transversely into 1−6 segments; segment indehiscent, with 1 seed.
